Have you tried looking in Blender in the Window menu/Toggle System Console if there is any error?
Also join luxcore discord and asking there to get some more help.

If you make a simple scene with a cube and a plane and you use a hdr the problem remains?

See if in Luxcore the material output active is checked or try using the glossy material instead of disney.
