Problems with undo

Hi all I've done with Luxcore 2 archviz mid sized projects so far, and with the two, doing undo gives me instant crash with this error: Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION When scene is small, undo works fine, but it starts to fail when it gets bigger and now it's unusuable. I cannot post the files, b...

Tip: if you change "?dl=0" at the end of dropbox urls to "?dl=1" you get a direct download link.
Thanks for the tip! Changed!

Will be more representative to see how they deal with GPU memory on textured scene. thanks for the test ;)
This is my next step, but after a few days, because I have to work all weekend.

Thanks

Re: High GPU memory

It's actually pretty cool how close cycles and luxcore got. Not too long Ago luxcore was way worse with memory consumption. But yes, octane seems to be quite a bit more optimized. But octane Also has no fallback option Once you run out of Vram, it's gpu or use another renderer. Both cycles and luxc...

High GPU memory

Hi all, I'm always hitting the GPU card's memory top with my renders (8GB gtx 1070). I also work with octane, but I cannot switch to Luxrender at work because I always get rid of memory at the middle of the project. I've made some comparisons (also with CPU). My first test is with only meshes: memor...

Re: Denoiser on CPU path

It's important to me because if I get rid of memory on the gpu, I need to switch to CPU without fearing this.

Yeah, I'm currently using optix denoiser.
