Re: Error: OpenCl viewport render doesn't work

The same here! Blender sometimes hangs up and if I try to make a render I have this error. This after downloading the latest BlendLuxCore from maintenance branch and latest luxcore openCl build [LuxRays][89.045] [Device Quadro K5200 Intersect] Pixel Filter Distribution buff er size: 33Kbytes [LuxCor...

Re: ERROR: Python context internal state bug. this should not happen!

obviously now, after closed Blender and restarted I don't see that message.

Usually I don't start Blender from the command line and rarely I open the system console so I can't exactly reply to you.
I'll try to pay attention the next times and try to understand if there is a scheme.

ERROR: Python context internal state bug. this should not happen!

What's related this kind of error?

I have many lines with that sentence without start rendering.

It seems that it doesn't give any other info.

Re: Env. Light Visibility Cache

Had anyone crashes using Env cache map in huge scenes with many light sources? I had one (that I can't share) that crashes everytime, sometime few seconds after the start of rendering phase...sometimes after the compiling kernel. I'm writing here cause disabling the cache option stop to crash. I'm u...

Re: Emission and Opacity: lower power?

On daily builds page I can see "Dade916 released this 9 days ago · 3 commits to master since this release".
So, if I'm not wrong, it seems that the last build older than this new feature..or not?

Re: Material/Texture rework in v2.3

I dont' know if it's a feature of Blender but, dreaming ... .. I'd like to have a mix material that can mix (blend) 2 materials that are instanced from existing ones. Example. I have a grid metal sheet material and an emissive material. I'd like to create a mix material where I can put "metal sheet"...

Re: Emission and Opacity: lower power?

I may add the MIS support for a special case (and probably the only useful): when opacity is set to 0 (i.e. fully transparent like in your case). Adding full support for partially transparent objects is likely to be a pain. P.S. I'm out of the town, I will check next week. It should be perfect! Tha...
