Re: Direct Light cache: hit rate not good

So, if I'd like to test different settings, what should be the workflow?

Something like:
- launch render
- when I'm quite satisfied of the sampling, I press Pause of the render
- then in the image editor I change the denoiser settings

is it correct?

So, I open the scene I shared, enable sun&sky and and stop?
Yes but with the fix to the number of light sources

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha2 released

So probably it's not something like the Vray lightcache https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY3MAX/Light+Cache+Settings In that doc there is the "pre-filter" explanation " Pre-filter – When enabled, the samples in the light cache are filtered before rendering. Note that this is different from the ...

Re: Direct Light cache: hit rate not good

Great guys!
I'm sorry but I've forgot that the light fixtures have an emission material.

I've tested using a matte material and it works in a great way!!!

Thank you very much

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha2 released

About the filtering of the lightcache samples, I mean something that can smooth the image area like the one you see over the table in this image. http://forums.luxcorerender.org/download/file.php?id=1345&mode=view It seems that there are some "circle" with different brightness and I'm thinking to so...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha1 released

I know that this is the first release of the Direct Light Cache so there will be space for development, but I'd like to know if it'll be developed the lightcache samples filtering to smooth the lightcache solution.
