Are you try to periodically save the film or something similar ? You seem to try to serialize a Film but it can happen only if you have enabled some kind of periodic saving. It is very strange. Not sure what you mean. I didn't try anything fence. I just tried to render the scene using the viewport ...

I updated the drivers and the result is the same. It works on viewport cpu mode, but in gpu still crashes.
