ah, there's a difference between Viewport and Final Render, I do see caustics with light tracing off in final render. I've been doing stuff that didn't need caustics seen through something transparent so have just been using Tracing. So in final render - refractive/reflective caustics will be visibl...

I have to drop the opacity of the glass below 1 for the caustics to show back through the plane. With Light Tracing it seems indeed the case to do so... But without Light Tracing (but GI cache on) I still don`t get any caustics as I got used to a while ago... I'm late to the party didn't see 2.3 an...

way late to this party but Disney has a different falloff behavior than Matte (and Glossy and Matte and Glossy Translucent) so maybe that's part of it?

Much better, the lighting from the window on the floor with the transition to the light coming through the shade on the upper window is excellent. Furniture/cloth are showing the great modeled wrinkles better now. I see you moved the tree through the door farther away, I would try to move it visuall...
