In the second example I wonder why Pgi loose so much brightness compare to Bidir.

You are right map gamma should be set to 1 for all non color maps.
sometime one can let it at 2.2 or higher just to make it more contrasty.
But it is better to use the color ramp node of luxcore for that.

With the blender implementation of ACES for Lux i have got HDRi didn't have input colorspace but the dev told me that it was Raw input.
And in my test it was looking very correct and simillar to Cycles hdri + input utility linear srgb
