Re: How to use Light group in Luxcore Standalone?

Yes Light group is integrated into Luxcore standalone.
The blender addon call functions from there to make it work.
As a proof Felixrender wich work with Luxcore now support Light group.

Btw will be nice to know a bit more about this DCC app. Why not ? top secret ;)

Awesome job and great details. The details on the mouse the fish and the Dog are really amazing.
Only the crocodile look a bit to smooth for me.
Also like the engine shot maybe one day there will a full movie made with Luxcore ;)

Re: Color spaces support (aka OpenColorIO v2.0)

So for the implementation in Blender what is reaquired ? LuxCore internally works in a linear FP32 color space and any input/output color needs to be converted to/from that color space. There are currently 3 supported input/output color spaces: Nop, LuxCore and OpenColorIO. What is t...

Re: Best Arch visualiser ever

But corona is still RGB like Luxcore. So I don't think it is spectral vs RGB. What I know is that Always output EXR to another software like darktable or rawtherapee is much better than setting stuff with Blender Filmic. Also so pretty advanced guy in Colour seems to not be that impress by ACES http...

Re: Color spaces support (aka OpenColorIO v2.0)

Since blender Filmic look to be ACES based but not in its complete form from what i was able to understand. Some artist on internet just override the complete blender color management system with ACES 1.1. And of course they look different : https://youtu.be/B7FWNNDXBl0 by Ton Roosendal: ACES is a c...
