Re: FSR AKA FidelityFX Super Resolution

Great Job TAO. Can't wait to test it in blendluxcore when it available. For sure such feature is needed as doubling résolution multiply render time by 4x. It is like a 200% speed bump for free. And FSR like OIDN is going to improve. Anything that close the gap to animation is welcome. Thanks to shar...

Re: How to solve Caustic Cache bright spot

Do you have light tracing (aka hybrid rendering) enabled ? Here is LightTracing OFF LC_off.png Here is LightTracing ON LC_on.png So I suppose enabling Light tracing in case like that is the solution. BTW is there any case where enabling Light tracing could fail resolving the bright photton spot ? B...

How to solve Caustic Cache bright spot

Hi !

I am renderingg this interior scene project and like often in medium/large project I have difficulty to use the caustic cache.
I don't know wich parameter to set to stop bright photon spot to appear everywhere like in the render bellow :

Re: issue with glass

It is the very same definition of SDS paths: you need to enable caustic cache to see the light, trough glass (S), on the floor (D). This is even what look strange to me. In fact in cycles you obtain a very different result And we all know how """good""" this engine play with caustics. And there is ...
