Re: medieval UK coin

From what you've shown so far I like this one best: download/file.php?id=1285&mode=view
However it seems like the polygons from sculpting are still visible, you probably have to subdivide further and smooth it a bit (e.g. with dyntopo and smooth brush).

Re: LuxCore doesn't delete Materials

Ok, so it's not a bug in the addon, this is just normal Blender behaviour.

Re: LuxCore doesn't delete Materials

I can not reproduce this.
Are the materials listed in the "Orphan Data" view of the outliner?

Re: Light

alpha1 is available here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=400

Re: medieval UK coin

When I compare your render with reference images like this one , it is already close. About the material: I would try to mix in some Matte to simulate the slight dirt layer, which is diffuse. Since your coin is sculpted and has enough polygons, you can also try to play around with the Pointiness nod...

Re: Light

I have one more question where is Denoising located? It is described here: https://forums.luxcorerender.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=335#p3884 By the way, the lighting in your scene is set up a bit strange. For example the huge sphere light. It seems way too big, it even clips into the ceiling and groun...

Editing manually the final.py file?
Yes.
I have replaced the line marked in red with the lines marked in green.
