Re: DLSC test

And here I was hoping that DLCS would eventualy hide even the existing settings rather than exposing more parameters prone to user error and requiring endless testrenders. When a new feature like the denoiser or DLSC is introduced, I usually expose all parameters at first because I don't know mysel...

It looks like BlendLuxCore is not exposing the warmup property I was talking about. You need that one.
I added support for it: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... 190fa44cd1

Re: LuxCore newer comes to an end rendering a scene

The default behaviour is to render endlessly, until the user decides that the image is clean enough. However, you can specify halt conditions , for example a number of samples. By the way, here is the BlendLuxCore manual: https://wiki.luxcorerender.org/Category:BlendLuxCore It contains answers to so...

Re: Weird gamma using spot light with bitmap

Or you have to make the overall image brighter by adjusting the tonemapper scale, but in turn make the spot light darker. By the way, I disabled automatic tonemapping, this is usally better once you know the tonemapping scale your scene needs. And one general tip: if you use filmic, sometimes switch...

Re: Weird gamma using spot light with bitmap

You are using filmic color management. Your image is probably completely over-exposed. Filmic has this behaviour that overexposed colors get desaturated instead of blowing out. Also, the gamma of your image is probably 2.2, not 5, which leads to excessive banding because the 8 bit image does not hav...

Re: Weird gamm using spot light with bitmap

Have you specified the correct gamma value for the image?
How do your color management settings look like, are you using filmic?
Can you upload a testscene with all textures that shows the problem?

Re: Copy/paste an object with node material crashes 2.79b on Debian

This is a known bug in Blender 2.79b, it is fixed in latest master, but the first official release to include the fix will be Blender 2.8.
