Re: Two problems with Output Material ID

There's a special AOV with anti-aliased material IDs, I think it's called MATERIAL_ID_COLOR.

The best thing though would be to have cryptomatte, but that's not implemented in LuxCore so far.

Re: Blender not detecting AMD GPU

It wont detect my GPU even though its under system preferences. I have rtx 570 4th gen and it doesn't show up under devices and when I set it to render under GPU it doesn't change and stays with the CPU. Did you try to do a final render? Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds

It sounds like you downloaded the github repository (BlendLuxCore-master). That's not enough, you need the binaries as well.

Instead, download a release from here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendLuxCore/releases
(click the "Asset" section to see the files).

Re: Color spaces support (aka OpenColorIO v2.0)

There is only one type of linear FP32: it is meaning depends how you transform the input colors and output colors (so LuxCore internal color representation can be sRGB or ACEScg). But what about functions in LuxCore that for example compute the luminosity of a color? Don't they all assume linear sR...

Re: Volumetrics issues

Maybe we could use an in-depth, technical guide to volume setup to help users of the LuxCore API understand the system better? (Of course, the question is who has time to write it)
