Arne Jacobsen Visor floor lamp
Hey guys I made this render earlier this day just for fun an to try out some random stuff. Everything is made from scratch. The setup here is really simple, nothing really fancy actually but for some reasons for product viz I kind of like it this way. Render time around 30 min with denoising with Op...

Re: The I N D I N I E house
That's pretty interesting as things are actually quite similar here, although I think living in big african cities these days is a good thing to a certain extent because the major part of the continent finds itself in a huge growing process, due to the investment you mentionned. Here in France thing...

Re: The I N D I N I E house
PS: Maybe, you can make a fluffy carpet made from hairs like B.Y.O.B. showed once. I remenber i didn't care a lot about carpet detail and it is a mistake i should just erase (remenber my san pedro bedroom).I will not forget that one. As everything get a lot of attention and details it is really obv...

Re: it was better before
Interesting topic Though I do not totally agree with you as I think this is mostly user related. These days you do not have to fully understand rendering, modeling and texturing as in the past. Things have become really user friendly. As a grandpa I remember beta versions of Brazil RS with all those...

Re: The I N D I N I E house
Nice work as usual ! The carpet texture could have used a bit of a tweaking as it looks pretty blurry right now. But apart from that and maybe a bunch of areas that look a bit noisy, great job. Looking forward to get displacement implemented in Lux (really) to see you deal with it in the best possib...

Re: Artifacts running GPU
The problem is caused by the low precision of floating point numbers. The min. epsilon is a small value that is added in some places to avoid this issue. For example, it is added to rays to offset them a bit from the hit surface, to avoid wrong self-shadowing. See also https://forums.luxcorerender....

Re: Artifacts running GPU
0.0001 did not do the trick but 0.001 worked like a charm, thanks
Aso, I did not find anything about this setting on the wiki page, what's it for exactly ? How does it affect my render ?
