So what about BiDir + PGI cache, can it do reflected indirect caustics as well as BiDirVM? Now that v2.6alpha is finally accessible I tested this scene again and, as I feared, the caustic cache is limited to SDS paths with BiDir and just slows down repeating the message "PhotonGI metropolis sampler...

How to activate caustic cache in LuxCoreUI?

Starting to test the new version 2.6alpha I ran into a problem, with 2.6a on my Windows PC and also with 2.5 on my Mac. Setting up a simple scene using caustic cache in Blender 2.92 works as expected, SDS caustics show up in the render. Then I export the scene with LuxCore filesaver into text format...

Now the Windows version works, thanks @acasta69 for the fix!
(MacOS 10.13 still defaults with error shown below:)

The BlendLuxCore daily builds are now working again.
Somehow I cannot install the latest BlendLuxCore 2.6 alpha on Windows (screenshot below) or MacOS with Blender 2.92.

I have not Installed VS2019 because I saw it was reverted to VS2017.

Seriously do you think you will be able to use cached caustics if there was a one click solution like the one in Light tracing ?? I'd love to see a one-click-caustics-incl.SDS-solution in Lux but I fear compared with Chaos Group here's a lack of resources to pull off something that probably took a ...
