The new addon only offers what was previously called the "experimental API" (i.e. LuxCore).
It is no longer "experimental".

Now i understand you. On the youtube channel there are tutorial for both old luxrender 1.7 and new Core engine Luxcorerenderer. So the 2 last tutorial and upcomming one are only dedicated to Luxcore 2.1 alpha.x wich didn't have same feature as old luxrender 1.7.

All this stuff was part of the old LuxBlend addon.
I have rewritten the whole addon from scratch, so it is a new addon called "BlendLuxCore".
