Instancing in apps like Octane is intended to be used all with the same material. The materials link up to the object, the object is then linked to the instancing node and this is straight to output. Re: Supporting LuxCoreRender with Phantom Scatter

Thanks for the reply, I agree only scenario 2 is viable, since LuxCoreRender doesn't have a standalone dedicated UI. I did want to explain both to make myself clear. Re: Cannot build SDK for Visual Studio 2017 / 2019 (luxparse.y problem ?)

Code: Select all

The officially supported version is 2017
I am happy to use VS2017 to build an awesome app!

Re: Cannot build SDK for Visual Studio 2017 / 2019 (luxparse.y problem ?)

The build finishes perfectly for VS2017. I tried to use VS2019 also but that one didn't work, so for now I'll use 2017! Thanks for the heads up guys.

Cannot build SDK for Visual Studio 2017 / 2019 (luxparse.y problem ?)

I'm following the exact steps on the guide here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/WindowsCompile After calling cd C:\Rendering\LuxCoreRender\luxcor...
