Thanks for the reply, I agree only scenario 2 is viable, since LuxCoreRender doesn't have a standalone dedicated UI. I did want to explain both to make myself clear. The build finishes perfectly for VS2017. I tried to use VS2019 also but that one didn't work, so for now I'll use 2017! Thanks for the heads up guys.
