Re: HDRI inside warehouse
Sorry thought my question might appy to tutorials and/or tips.
I can't find out how to move a post, or even delete it. Just edit (which doesn't seem to allow delete/move)

HDRI inside warehouse
Hi, I am still working on getting a car to look good in a render. I am using HDRI and it looks ok if I have a floor and one wall, and HDRI for lighting. If I want to do a 360 video around the car, I need 4 walls and a roof of the building. But if I do that, the scene is pitch black. I guess all the ...

I am using blender 2.8 and lux 2.2 i've tried a bunch of stuff myself and can't get anything that looks good, either with lux or cycles. a good scene to learn from would be great if one exists. I see you have a bunch of downloadable examples but none with cars. I...

Re: shadow catcher
The only place I see holdout is in the outliner, where you can hide from render etc. There is a holdout there, but I can't seem to select it for anything but a collection. So if I put suzanne in her own collection, I can toggle holdout on that collection. But it doesn't do anything to the render. Ar...

Re: shadow catcher
Ok I made a very simply scene whereby I simply want the monkey shadow on it's own layer so I can change it's opacity or do whatever else with it. I can't upload the scene here because it's too big (the .exr file). You can download the scene here: https://gurglurator.com/blendertest.zip The lux versi...

hi, i have something working using a shadow catcher. Is there a way to change the opacity/darkness etc of the shadow....without affecting the object casting the shadow. I can change the color of the shadow by changing the diffuse color of the plane material. But it's always semi-transparent. Is the ...
