I'm following camera projection topic too, it is really handy on many cases, look at this cool scene creating with Camera projection that need no time to render and just in 13 minutes.

I think he's looking for "Camera projection" UV mapping from view. That's really handy, i always use it, i wonder why i did not notice it until now. it is perfect for create realtime scenes in vewport too. Add support for RayFire elements, mostly Mesh modifiers. Still in progress and have to issue in a few areas but mostly done. with almost no time to translate. I see a few issues that i reported in Github.
