Thank you, I have been following your videos on materials. I was wondering. Why do you set your roughness to 2.2 in gamma? shouldn't it be 1?
I was also wondering how you tweak your maps; for example, there is a map range node in cycles. Should I use the color ramp to adjust my scratch intensity?

Help understanding roughness
HI. I decided to give it a try to Luxcore after a couple of years. I am a bit confused about a scene I am building: https://i.imgur.com/h9LQ360.png I am adding roughness maps to create a bit of imperfection, but I can not manage to notice anything in the render. https://i.imgur.com/QWEyR4B.png It mi...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.5beta1
Thank you! Yes and I Think there was a bevel modifier did not work in a project. I am not sure. I am re-taking a scene I started long time ago.
I just saw Blender is looking for developers for cycles...Hope you stay and keep making luxcore amazing.

Re: Trying to get rid of fairflies, need advice.
Indeed the clamping feature at mac brightness 5 give me a almost free fireflies...at 5500 samples...
I guess...then a render of 1000 x 1000 will take 4 hours.
ok I exaggerated driven by my frustration: It will be around 1 hr for 1000px

Re: Trying to get rid of fairflies, need advice.
there it is necessary to set the maximum brightness value for any pixel in the image. try it, put 1, and it will get a little dark, but the fireflies will disappear. then, gradually increase the value until the fireflies reappear. well, or give me a scene, I have 15 minutes of time, I'll see.
