I would like to thank Dade for his commitment, speed and promptness. This feature will further improve the use of Luxcore in product renderings. Thank you very much.

Re: Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

Hello Dade, so ... Yes I am using a shadow collector, but that has been talked about since the beginning. The use of this is to be the transparent glass when you have a product in the studio for example. So I believe that it is the shadow collector that has to be changed. Esfera1.jpg Esfera_alpha.jpg

Re: Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

Yes sure. Here it is.sphere_beauty.jpgsphere_beauty.png What is the difference between the 2 spheres ? Is it the amount of reflection ? It seems to set alpha=0 if the ray is transmitted or alpha 1.0 if it is reflected  The one on the left is solid and the one on the right is thick (solidify)

Corona alpha

They may have the alpha value related to the amount refraction (more refraction = more white). Can you you run the same test with a sphere and post the alpha channel ?

Re: Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

This does not solve Dade, for example a bottle has to be transparent where I have no liquid. I cannot change the transparency of the whole bottle. Luxcore glass turns white without transparency image_2021-05-08_17-14-36.png Cycles is correct, with transparency using holdout or shadow catcher in the ...

Re: Cycle X (and OpenCL)

I have already, it is a bit useless but, I guess, we can rise the hype like everyone seem eager to do nowadays. Does this mean that we can already use bidir or ligth tracing over the GPU? He is just saying to consider to use new name for the new version not that he have an early code of the hypothe...
