If I try this in Lux then I get a 'Wrong Input' message Is there a work around as I am trying to recreate a Cycles tutorial for a PBR 'Cracked Leather...

Re: Realistic velvet material please

I've made this, but it just doesn't look quite right to me. Where am I going wrong? Thanks

Realistic velvet material please

Hi

I’ve been playing around with the velvet shader for quite a while, but just can’t seem to make anything as realistic as this (image attached). I can sculpt (to a fashion) but it’s the material itself that I’m stuck with.

Many thanks

Re: Blender Wood Texture

Thanks Kintux. I didn't notice the option to choose a different type with noise.

Blender Wood Texture

Hi

In the Blender Wood texture, the settings for Noise Size and Turbulence don't seem to be making any difference?

Many thanks
