Re: Fully empty scene takes 1.07Gb of VRam... broken?

ok, you are totally right, I just re-tested it and yes, a fullyk empty scene without anything with the 2080Ti, without the 970 gives me 950Mb of Vram. May be a good idea to have some kind of multiplier or setting as an advanced option to tune in that, just because sometime maybe you prefer to have a...

Re: Fully empty scene takes 1.07Gb of VRam... broken?

Re: Fully empty scene takes 1.07Gb of VRam... broken?

Then there is something related to my system, because others have tested it in their systems and says that it takes 500 or 600Mb for them, but in my system it takes 1Gb, however a fully empty scene takes 1Gb, here is a picture: blender_vEgNXsOfXQ.png And here is a picture of a newly created .blend: ...

A new scene takes 270Mb, but for some reason this scene takes 1.07Gb, no caches enabled, noth...

Re: Persistent Cache not loaded

TBH I've been trying to render some cube maps with the same technique I've been using lately, and for some reason the lighting was not exaxctly the same in all the images of the cubemaps, so the seams were visible, I was really puzzled but this, but there may be a relation to this, since every frame...

Re: Cycle X (and OpenCL)

Octane uses a custom build and they implemented their own export system, so it’s not comparable to LuxCore which is a pure addon, the majority of problems come from the very own limitation due to Blender Python API
