Re: Lux it! RenderFarm (analogue of Sheepit for Luxcore)
The only thing I have to think about is the energy need of this computing power. In Switzerland we pay about 30 cents per kWh (€ cents). 95 W running 24/7 costs about 69 cents per day and 20.50 €/month. Good Lord energy is expensive there. I spend R600 (25€) a month on energy here in South Africa, ...

Re: Mac user have only metal support. OpenCl not supportet anymore
( Linux ) But the Radeon need OpenCl 2.0 on Linux. Lux core Render dosent recognition the GPU and the Mac user cant use the wonderful Lux core Render. Assuming you tried with a Ubuntu based Linux Distro. AMD GPU Pro Drivers allowed me to render with OpenCL on Cycles. Here's a link to the instructio...

Re: "Running Out" of samples.
Render crashes without Out-of-Core. I'll need to try a simplified version of the scene that fits in my VRAM and test without Out-of-Core.

Re: "Running Out" of samples.
Yup that's exactly it. You mentioned it doesn't happen in Tiled-Mode, there is still a performance hit when using tiled-mode correct?I also have that curtain-effect. It starts down there and slowly wanders up until the picture is ready - or ruined depending on the scene.

"Running Out" of samples.
Hi All, I'm hoping to get something clarified. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, I'm rendering an exterior scene with lots of particles for grass and trees. So I'm using out of core mode. When I have my samples set to 512, my images doesn't render all the way. It's as though it "runs out&qu...
