It's good to be back. Here's a new 4K jewelry render made with Luxcore 2.1
2 renders composited with an extra light rays layer and some composition layers
Render time 20 minutes for 40 light rays samples.
I hope Luxcore will regain the momentum it deserves, and keep developing ...

Crash is weird.
I am also using Blender 3.6, and I tested with the latest 2.8alpha Win10 64, it works great. Download from https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendLuxCore/releases... Other than that, beware it is using Bidir, so it's all CPU, maybe lower the render settings.

Thank! I am glad to see the same enthusiasm, and it's true, it is harder to achieve than it might seem at first. Settings must be very specific in order to work.

Having no black spots was not a goal, so I didn't even notice that. I was so much focused on getting a daylight palette, that the black reflections vanished for a change. I most frequently use interior hdri, not this time
