Re: Weird behaviour of bump

Also I think bump textures should be linear, meaning 1 for gamma, seems more logical that values are used in linear fashion. It is not a rule, but i think bump height should be dependent of object scale, let's say a 20th of object's scale. In case of this chimney, I would make it 50cm x 50cm and bum...

Re: Weird behaviour of bump

Check over your values, I opened your file and it is pretty extreme what is going on there. Check your scene scale, objects scale and light intensity also. I also changed camera tonemapping to get better control over scene exposure. And do not confuse bump with displacement, as far as I can tell the...

Re: Solar panel

This means, you create tiling textures first, and import them to blender adding then materials in luxcore addon? Do you know other tiling texture creating software? Yes, I first create a tiling texture and then apply it to my objects. If you're interested in a simpler solution for making tiling tex...

How to you export to luxcore for rendering? Substance Designer does not mention it.
I just used default metal/rough.
Discovered, that in my first render there was a problem with metal mixing so I fixed it now :D.

Join LuxCore Discord!

I searched the forum for Discord, but didn't find one. So I went ahead and created a Discord server for LuxCoreRender. It is not official, but I still encourage everyone to join. I have had very positive experience with software discord servers so far and I think this community could benefit from th...

Re: Baking textures like in Cycles

People who are interested in baking textures with LuxCore, maybe we could create a bounty to get this implemented?

Baking textures like in Cycles

Would it ever be possible to bake textures with LuxCore? Or is it possible already, haven't seen that feature, but who knows, maybe I missed something. It could be super handy to bake lighting or textures from other objects, like in Cycles. Do people have even have a need for it? I guess it has not ...

Re: Devil's pool scene issues

Undo crashes with every action, trying to undo object transform, texture linking or anything else. That comp word was my mistake, I meant new Blender scene. Opening new blend file while this one was open resulted in instantcrash. I don't need to enter renderview to crash blender, it happens even wit...
