Chair Stitching more visible in Cycles

Hi

I was wondering why the stitching in the arm of this chair is more visible in Cycles than in Lux. Overall, the Lux Velvet material is far nicer than the Cycles one but the stitching is just using the Disney shader set to the same settings in Cycles and in Lux

I appreciate that the lighting is a bit brighter in the Cycles version, but even when I change it it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Many thanks

See if in Luxcore the material output active is checked or try using the glossy material instead of disney.

You could also set clamping a bit higher.

Anyway, here's a take on it (@wetransfer).

Thank you kintuX. That's become much more visible in the downloaded file :)

the shadowing under the pillows on the lux image looks weird. Like white, instead of the shadows you see in the Cycles version

It looks quite unnatural because of strong 'sheen' effect (Velvet's Thickness). But can be remedied, either by lowering 'Thickness' or mixing it w/ "Disney" and using its "sheen" effect. It's just an artistic choice :)
