Hello.
I'm trying to learn how to use Geometry Nodes combined with Luxcore and I took a Geometry Nodes for generating a floor with parallel and straight planks.
The problem is that I don't know how to apply my UVmaps to each plank once I have my wood texture.
I know how to create tone variations for each instance and how to rotate the unique texture, generating in this way a lot of planks with random variations, which is awesome.
The issue arrives when I try to apply all this to Geometry Nodes.
How can I transfer my texture with the randomness I want to each of the geon Nodes planks I've created?
I have this for now and as you can see each different tone doesn't apply per plank and the texture can't be seen...Still.
Some advice?
Thanks in advance.
How to add UVmapping to a planks created using Geometry Nodes
Re: How to add UVmapping to a planks created using Geometry Nodes
Not sure if you found a way, but you can convert geonode objects to mesh objects then proceed from there.
Just hit Ctrl + A > Visual Geometry to Mesh.
Just hit Ctrl + A > Visual Geometry to Mesh.
