I am new to Blender and LuxCore. I am having an issue which I cant seem to find any solutions to online, so I suspect it is something very basic I am doing wrong.
I am trying to add a decal to a model by using the Import --> Image as Plane addon. As soon as I click it, I get an error message
"Cannot generate materials for unknown LUXCORE render engine".
If I switch Render Engine from LuxCore to say Cycles or Eevee then it works fine and brings up the file dialogue for selecting the image.
I am using Blender 3.1 with the experimental builds. The LuxCore render engine is working fine for me in all other regards - I have created renders successfully, just without the decals.
I also tried Blender 2.93 with the stable addon and I get the same issue.
Hopefully someone can embarrass me with a fundamental understanding I am missing.
Cheers

Re: Import Image as Plane issue
Hi. This addon is working only with Cycles and Eevee. But you can use it with cycles first then switch to luxcore and recreate material for the imported image on plane.
