Denoiser on animation renders
How to I specify saving the denoised renders when rendering an image sequence? I have the image viewer to show the "DENOISED" render, but the files saved to disk are clearly the pre-denoised renders. I am using Blender 2.79 with LuxCore 2.2beta3.
Re: Denoiser on animation renders
I set mine up in the compositor and decide what percentage to have as Denoised.

I don't know for sure that this is the normal way......but hope it helps.

Re: Denoiser on animation renders
Using the compositor with the DENOISED output to the Composite node seems to work, so yes, that helps. Thanks!
But... why do you mix the noisy and denoised renders?

Re: Denoiser on animation renders
It may just be a matter of personal taste, but If I'm using a low sample count and the denoise looks a bit splodgy then mixing in a bit of the un-denoised can help a bit. And, within reason, I quite like a bit of noise/grain in the renders.Post

I agree with Racleborg‘s opinion. Additionally the more sample counts the less noise and the less mix has any influence. And yet another fact, low sample counts even if quite noiseless might lose details with denoiser. Depending on individual taste mix ratio between 0.5 and 0.95 makes sense, I often use 0.85 for denoised image, means 0.15 parts of raw image.

That's about the same values that I use.
