Especially small roughness values should show no big difference once switching to rough glass but LuxCore just cannot handle it currently, there has to be some bug in rough glass or light tracing algorithm to explain our results.
Rough glass is GLOSSY material so it doesn't use light tracing at all if the roughness is over the threshold.

Yes, I'm aware of that, in the scene the glass roughness is 0.01 and the light tracing glossiness threshold at 0.2 in order to ensure light tracing works with the glass object.
