Fluid Animation - Constructive criticism please

Post by AutogolazzoJr »

This is a fluid sim I made from scratch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9qtLXSY6B8
Heavily inspired by this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IiRzmfs5aw
What I know I need to do:
Make the mesh suck less
Higher FPS
Longer
Better Camera
Better HDRI

What I need help on: Ok, my hdri was only half, with a black bottom and real sky. I would like to use some sort of full hdri and blur it. How could I do that? Any constructive criticism would be great.

It looks like a gel. But not on the water.
Try Manta Flow, Flip Fluids.

For HDRIs you can take a look at our "external resources" page: https://wiki.luxcorerender.org/External ... 28HDRIs.29

You should consider to disable automatic tonemapping.
Currently the automatic tonemapper adjusts the brigthness to the scene, so near the end the floor gets over-exposed because there is more black background in the image.
