There should be a new conflict with another plugin perhaps.

This is a beta release of MaxToLux, a LuxCore plugin for Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2019, 2020, 2021, And 3ds Max 2022
The first time you use the GPU render plugin will try to Compile the Kernels and it can take up to 5 minutes base on the PC configuration, it's not a crash nor a bug.

Try to not using any intel base GPU for OpenCL render engines they are pretty slow and laggy.

I rendered the same scene with maxtolux 8.2.7 and with 8.7.9 and it is showing a memory problem.
see attached screen shots.
first is made with maxtolux 8.2.7 ram usage is constantly floating to max usage of 1.543... shoiwing pass 39, but it can run for 600 passes more and by stable ram usage. the other 2 screen are made with new 8.7.9 taken at pass 42 and at 64 as you see the Ram is increasing by the time.. it will reach 13GB /14GB by about 100 passes
