My first attempt, need a lot of guidance

I would like to achieve an acrylic plastic of 5 mm thickness.
This but thinner. But checking references ...made me realize its actually quite similar to the render
I also attached a screenshot of my model, the surface kind of pink...its the acrylic.

Have you sent me the wrong scene ? The one I received is a Cycles scene with no Lux materials or light sources
