Blender crash

Post by Odilkhan Yakubov »

I've just downloaded latest build (it has in v2.4 official too) from github and installed on Blender 2.83 (into 2.90 alpha too). Just start compile kernel with Blender default pref for faster compilation the first time. But after compiled kernel Blender has been crashed. With both 2.83 and 2.90 (i know it is not stable).

EDIT: Also when I hit Viewport rendering button Blender has been closed too. Really strange.
Nvidia driver: v451.77 Studio

[SOLVED] Blender crash

Post by Odilkhan Yakubov »

After many tries I found the solution:
1. I deleted everything compiled from temp folders;
2. Set to Default params Nvidia control panel;
3. Download/install C++ redist 2018 (ia-32/intel64);
4. Reopend Blender cube scene and re-compiling at once again;
5. Tadaaa....it works here!😁

Re: Blender crash

Post by CAZ »

hello,
I had the same issues on my machine.
BUT no problem with the demo files from LuxCore
As soon as I started to work on a new project, both viewport and render slot made Blender crash or freeze.

And I'm running a AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64X graphic card...on an iMac Pro...

Is it possible to have some help to fix it on my Apple machine without being a geek ? :geek: ;)
Thank you.
