Hello,
With Blender 2.83 and LuxcoreRender 2.4 latest, Blender is crashing when I click on the viewport shading icon to display render preview mode.
Hitting the F12 to enter the Blender Render with Luxcore GPU's device, it's fine. So, where does the viewport bug comes from....???
Whatever I have in my scene, light or heavy, with materials or no, Blender is quitting when I activate the GPU device rendering in the viewport.
CPU's in the viewport render is ok BUT what I really don't understand is that with the Luxcore demo files Everything in the viewport is fast easy and never crashes with the GPU device selected.
I really misunderstand something somewhere, is there someone who can help me to figure it out please ?
In any case (just for being complete) here is my iMac Pro config :
iMac Pro 2020 5K 27" (OS10.15.6)
Processor 3 Ghz Intel Xeon W10 cores
Memory 64 Go 2666 MHz DDR4
Graphic Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16Go
Thank you.
CAZ.

(in fact, all new scene created by me in Blender crashed Blender when I want a GPU viewport rendering...)

Can you upload a scene that is crashing for you, so we can test if it happens on our end as well?
It might also help us if you start Blender from a terminal, trigger a crash and post the terminal output here.

Hello B.Y.O.B.,
Files uploaded.
Blender file, Terminal and Apple Crash report file in the .zip file (both files are .txt format)
I'm pretty sure I misconfigure something in my Blender isn't it ?
Many thanks,

Hi, I opened your scene here and it didn't crash on the GPU, it could be a sign that the problem is not in the scene but in something else.
My configuration is:
Windows 10
i7 8700, GTX 980, 32gb Ram

yes. It works in the final render.
I only find issues on my iMacPro when I try the render mode in the viewport. Only with new scene I create.
So strange...
