Lux animation and ways of it

Post by DionXein »

Hello there.

I am not so familiar with luxcore, but lasts releases with render speed performance and using of cuda etc. rise some interests in me. Especially in animation way of it. I don't clearly realize how works roughness (max value is 0.8, but in cycles it 1(?)), but already made some tests. Hope I find other ideas to make another video or expand this one.

So I tried another animation variant.

384 frames, 1920x1080, CPU (Ryzen 7 2600), 2 min per frame, OIDN, total render time 13 hours.

Here is some issue with motion blur, shatter is too low I guess. Also if I use only CPU to render, it blocks all features from camera setting such as bloom?

Can you upload a small scene showing this problem?

I used Ryzen 7 2600 and GTX 2060 3Gb. And I think it took about 2-3 minutes per frame (24fps for cinematic look).
