I just discover that we don't support Mantaflow while trying some smoke fire test for a tutorial . When can we expect the support from this ?
Luxcore version :
Cycles version :
Mantaflow fluid support
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
There is no planned timeframe yet.
If anything happens, it'll be visible on this issue: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... issues/380

Re: Mantaflow fluid support
Thanks for the input. I was seing it more like luxcore thing than a blendluxcore ( i mean addon side).B.Y.O.B. wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 5:17 pm There is no planned timeframe yet.

Re: Mantaflow fluid support
I think only addon changes are needed.
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
I have pushed a first fix for support of mantaflow in Blender 2.82. There are a lot of bugs in Blender still. It crashes very often.
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
Thank you neo. Are crashes due to blendluxcore mantaflow support code or blender mantaflow itself ?
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
The crashes are due to blender mantaflow code, e. g. cache file management.
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
Nice will play with that
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
THANKS A lOT Neo2068 for the good job it work i've some test in mind for smoke :
Re: Mantaflow fluid support
Note: We might add a new node for mantaflow support in the future, as I suggested here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... t-38582533
So don't create big projects with the current smoke node yet, only do tests (I shouldn't have to say this since we are not in beta yet, but just to make sure).
