I did various test animations last year with v2.1 and 2.2 and the combination of persistent PGI cache and OIDN (and a RTX) works just great.

Problems arise with ELVC/DLSC which lack persistence implementation and caustics, because light tracing has a brightness issue and caustic cache produces firefly photons, causing flickering in animation.

There is a SOBOL OCL & OIDN problem (vertical stripes) sometimes with low sample count which can be solved by choosing random sampler.

Oh yes, I forgot about sobol and OCL problem, especially very visible in mirrors/glass.

Maybe that problem could be solved with dithering in the sampler, I want to propose this to @dade and see how factible he thinks it is :)

Well for now we can switch to random sampling. But it would be great to have a fix for this.

since Dade "unlocked" sheen value for disney.. I decided to make 2 pics. for my insta. Textured and multiplied sheen makes cloth/fabric look fantastic (strong bump needed too!)

This one is a lot better. Did you slow down it with a kind of Video editing trick Or rerender the frames ?

Have you tried renderstreet farm ?
