Jewellery render

Post by joyasrohrbach »

So, here it is. After several comments about me having to use other renderers to improve, this new project is gerting rendered entirely with LuxCore (this means this is not a Cycles scene ported to LuxCore, all materials and scene have been created directly with LuxCore nodes). I hope you will appreciate the result.

Ring designed and rendered entirely in Blender (2.82alpha)
This project will also become a new jewellery animation.

Hello and welcome, thanks for posting your work !

The ring and environment model looks really good ! The render is blurry, not sure if it comes from the low sample and denoising, or if the ring is out of focus. Have you tried to let it render longer ?

A different camera angle, and maybe additional lighting, could make the render easier to understand/read.

Looking forward to more renders, there is a lot of potential !

Thanks! Yes, this design will be made some day, probably at the beginning of next year. I always make my 3D models ready for 3D printing. As for the expensive, it depends a lot on the clients wishes, given that this model can be made cheaper in brass then gold coated and cubic zirconium for stones. The only question then is if it is worth all the work to make the cheaper version.
