idk if I'm doing something wrong here, but I'm getting a weird result with subsurface scattering with the latest release for Blender 2.8
I'm using this node setup:
I would have figured that the material would be a nice white with maybe some orange on the edges (That's a Pointiness node attached to the color mix), but instead I get this in the viewport:
This has me scratching my head lol

If it helps, I'm using Bidirectional with both eye and light depth to 100. HDR only for lighting

Found my issue. It was related to normals. Also found out there were a *lot* of doubled vertices in that particular object for some reason. All good now.
