Light Path Node equivalent for LuxCore?

Post by xlxs »

Will something like the "light path node" that cycles has, be supported in the future? Or that's not possible? (in both bidir and path)
I think this will unlock many possibilities....

From Blender manual:
The Light Path node is used to find out for which kind of incoming ray the shader is being executed; particularly useful for non-physically-based tricks. More information about the meaning of each type is in the Light Paths documentation.
It looks like the kind of stuff that doesn't make sense in the context of BiDir, Light tracing, PhotonGI, Metropolis, etc.
