Just a bit of playing around.
30min Bidir+Metropolis on Ryzen 7 2700x, denoised.
Scene is for Blender 2.80 with latest BlendLuxCore daily build.

Is that even realistic :D looks wild 8-)

EDIT: trying out PSR on this and it seems it lacks some SDS love :(

I'm still rendering (and lighttracing+PSR don't seem to be too fast on volumes) but here's what your rendering is missing in terms of reflections:

EDIT: hah, seems that lighttracing and PSR won't allow those beams to ever form after the first big red glass ball...

Is this scene can be properly rendered with luxcore at current state? This is outcome from old lux render...

Looks terrific, but when I try to render the downloaded scene (as is) I'm not seeing them?

Try installing the latest BlendLuxCore daily build, there was a bug in world volume export that might affect this scene.

I can't wait to create something like it in my Fostex (Ecological song) scene!
