BTW big 10km square ocean plane also disables lighttracing completely (even though lighttracing is set to use 0.05 glossiness threshold and ocean material has 0.15 so it shouldn't do anything with lighttracing)
if I disable the ocean mesh for rendering then I get lighttracing back...

I replaced most textures and modified others, I will also make new trunks for palms cause I want smaller and more detailed ones than original.

Here are some not great not terrible palm tree trunks. (Well, better than a cylinder with lowres texture) 2.5gb of vram gone just for palms... I'm definitely not rendering main scene on gpu
