it's breaking my windows
i've same issue here. it is likely to break on reflective surface.

Dade please. This or portals.

Luxcore definitely needs either this to be working well or a standard "portal" solution

I'm still using cache without breaking it. The only time the new cache give black artifact is when object become very reflective (somewhere below 0.05 roughness)

Yes of course. My comment is to show that it is something that is maybe no hard to fix as only this hyper reflectivity case broke it from my experience ;)

I consider now the work for v2.2 PhotonGI cache and Hybrid rendering done. This is the next (and last) topic for v2.2 (bug fixes aside).
