The title of the thread should "LuxCoreRender v2.2" so it can be used for all v2.2 related discussions.

Great additions!
I'm quite sure that PGI will be the new standard algorithm in Luxcore.
Great job guys!!!

For those who may need it, here you can find OpenCL Windows binaries with pyluxcore based on Python 3.7:

Users of Blender daily builds, which are based on Python 3.7, can install the BlendLuxCore addon as usual, then replace existing binaries with these ones.

but reports wrong version
Ah, I forgot to update the version number.
I found two other issues, once they are fixed, I'll repackage v2.2alpha0.
I have repackaged the release with the fixes.

On my windows OIDN, for 4K resolution, is extremy slow like - 15 min everything freze, ...works fine for HD resolution about 3 sec. Cpu render and denoise & 32 G RAM machine. Photon GI Cache works grate. Still testing. Thanks.

If this is a general issue for you - i.e. it happens with different scenes and different rendered samples - you should open a thread in the user support forum and post s test scene plus more info about your machine. I just tried an 8K image as a test, that indeed used ~64GB of memory (I also have 32GB RAM), but even with swapping the rest to SSD it only took 1.5 minutes in that scene.

I was wrong, I have only 16 G of RAM, and no ssd.
...will test with another scene.

[...] I have [...] no ssd.
You should get one immediately
Although more for general purposes. Even an SSD doesn't make for a good swap

I tried to expand ram recently (on a pc with 16GB) by turning 128GB of SSD space to swap - to test if I could get a large diffraction computation to run ---> nope
