Hello Everybody,

Sorry to ask this, bur after trying everything, I have to.
I am trying to install the "luxcorerender-latest-blender2.80-linux64-opencl.tar.bz2" version, but I am not getting it running.
I can't even see it in the add-ons.

How do I have to install this version?

Thank you
Christian

It looks like current files for linux marked as "for Blender" are just a copy of the stand alone version. It is a "bug", @acasta69 ?

It looks like Windows build is broken too.

In this moment I cannot check that it actually works in Blender, but maybe this could be just a misunderstanding...
All luxcorerender-latest-* are packaged as standalone versions. The difference between the blender2.80 and the regular packages is only in pyluxcore: the one in the blender2.80 packages is built from the blender2.80 branch (after merging latest changes from master).
Additionally, only for Windows, the Python version is also changed to 3.7.

To use the latest pyluxcore binary in blender 2.80, it is first needed to install the dedicated add-on (available only for Windows at the moment):
https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... OpenCL.zip
Then, you can update the binaries in the add-on directory with those from the latest luxcorerender.

For the linux version, someone suggested a procedure in another thread. I can't find it at the moment, but IIRC it was like this:
  • Install the Windows package for the add-on
  • Replace all binaries with those from a standalone luxcorerender Linux package

It was Dade's post:
http://forums.luxcorerender.org/viewtop ... 610#p15338
Try to replace binaries in the Windows .zip with those from luxcorerender-latest-blender2.80 for Linux, then install it.

The addon is OS-agnostic, for 2.8 you can just download the latest master: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... master.zip
Then put the files from the LuxCore daily build into the "bin" directory.
And if you want viewport denoising, you have to put the "denoise" binary from OIDN 1.0.0 into the "bin" directory as well.

Sothe file is https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCor ... -win64.zip for CPU-only rendering and https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCor ... opencl.zip if you want to use the GPU too.
is that your Windows build link broken as you said to @acasta69?

Is it supported by my system or not? As said before, my CPU is legacy. Exactly, Core2Quad Q6600

Are you seriously asking this question?
Passmark Core2Quad Q6600, 2008 Q4
Passmark Core2Quad Q6600, 2008 Q4
Passmark i9 9900, 2019

Your CPU is from 2008 Q4 or even earlier.
What do expect from this in 2019 Q3?
