The whole HDRI transformation thing is a bit screwed up, even if you use the LuxCore HDRI settings on a sun light.
We'll have to fix that eventually.

Re: BlendLuxCore Development
I have modified the material shading mode in the viewport (aka LookDev).
It is now no longer using Eevee (which requires Eevee shaders to preview materials).
Instead, I am using an RTPATHCPU engine with optimized settings and the Albedo AOV as the visible output in the viewport.
Here's a demo video: https://youtu.be/mzxQaxemWHI
It's not perfect in all areas, but should be much more useful for adjusting diffuse textures than what we had before.
If you have ideas or feedback about it, you can post them here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... issues/322

Re: BlendLuxCore Development
Wonderfull Simon.
Re: BlendLuxCore Development
This is awesome Simon!
For the future could be great to have a super fast render mode (like a direct light mode or something like that) for this, and an option to pick between different AOV's or the fast light mode, it would be helpful also to seetup lighting in a fast way, without a full path traced result

Yes... it's great and , following the ideas on the github about this, I think that it will be super useful
