I've been working on a new light group workflow based on Blender's compositor, which in my opinion makes much more sense than the old solution in the Blender addon.

Light groups are now no longer enabled/disabled or modified during the render, as this has the problem that you only get one final result from this process and can't save any different configurations. With the new workflow, light groups are just like other AOVs. There is a new lightgroup mixer node group that can be used to edit light groups after the render is done. One of the main benefits of this new system is that you can save multiple light group configurations from one single render now, like so:

Re: New Light Group Workflow in v2.5
Sincerelly this look like black magic on steroids. Like some people say on blenderartists luxcore should be directly integrated in blender.
Can't wait to test it mostly animated.
You're really talented Simon. Impressive Demo.
