Hi there!

I have some questions coming from my students.

I'll put them as a list here :)

- How can one access the paid models?
- Does it has to be a subscription model or can it be a one-time payment?
- How much does it cost?
- What's the license of the paid models?

And I think that's it.

Now I have a question from my self hehe

Can I share a scene made with LOL free models in my course?

I ask this because the free models are under the CC-BY-SA, the CC I get it, the BY I get it too, it's the SA what I'm not sure about including those models in my course scenes, I'm not sure if I can use them in the scene and share the standalone models together or if I'm totally forbidden of sharing those models inside my scenes.

Good work anyways :)

Thanks!

Hi Jungea !

1) The old way was via Patreon ( but this platform required from me a manual management for each person at each request). So now the library is moving to Blendermarket.Currently there is already 4 package there (2 of them will be visible this week). The creators page is :

https://blendermarket.com/creators/draviastudio

2) On the Creator page you can see prices for each package

3) All paid models are royality free

For free CC-BY-SA detail Dade can explain you better i think ;)

Doesn't the CC-BY-SA license text already explain everything?

You can definitely share the work in general. It means "share alike", so it is meant to ensure that new content is published under the same or at least compatible terms. So if you just share e.g. a .blend-file with only LOL models and your own work, you share it under CC-BY-SA as well.

You may get a problem when you want to mix it with content that is under different licenses.

See the following links for some official explanations and list of compatibility:

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/

https://wiki.creativecommons.org/wiki/S ... patibility

https://creativecommons.org/share-your- ... e-licenses

Ok, great, then there is not a problem at all!

And awesome that it's in Blender Market, you may want to put it on Gumroad or something similar, because the benefit will be higher (don't remove it from Blender Market, just put it there too)

I'll get those for sure :)

And regarding the CC-BY-SA I was assuming that it was required to share it in the same way it was received, not just the license, so great :D

With the license there is no problem, I'm trying to make everything from the course under CC0 or with CC0 models, if a scene has to be CC-BY-SA there is no problem then :)

I can also specify what models are CC-BY-SA and even separate them in two scenes :)

Thanks to all of you :)

There is the ND (No Derivatives) building block that specifies that.

Thanks for pointing that, I have the CC license much clearer now :)

However something is happening with the servers because it's failing to download the models I'm afraid :S
