It's sad, but understandable...

Does it mean the replacing of Hybrid rendering too?

No, why ? It is just a different solution only for SDs paths (like PSR was), I don't want to touch stuff that works well.

OK, so photon mapping will be used here for SDS paths only.
It wasn't clear for me.
